Vortex Optics: Ribbon-cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Construction Milestone at new Barneveld, Wisconsin Location

Vortex Optics celebrated a major construction milestone with their Ribbon-cutting event held on Saturday, October 22.  The Vortex Optics World Headquarters is a newly constructed, $32 million, 255,000 sq. ft. office and manufacturing facility located in the Barneveld Business Park in Barneveld, Wisconsin.

Henneman Engineering played a critical role in the project by identifying Vortex’s core needs, reflecting them in the design, and achieving optimum performance, maintainability, and efficiency within the facility. Henneman Engineering specializes in commercial building projects and brings commercial facilities to life from programming, through design development, construction documents and operations.  This facility design includes in-floor heating, in-flooring cooling, demand control ventilation, daylight harvesting and heat recovery chillers.  Henneman Engineering and Vortex worked closely with Focus on Energy to maximize energy efficiency.

“We embrace this opportunity to be a part of Vortex Optic’s support and vision for the community and hope to share in the bright future this effort provides for the surrounding area,” said Tyson Glimme, Senior Vice President of Henneman Engineering.

Ensuring building performance of the Vortex Optics facility is Henneman Engineering’s, Darren Schumacher, Commissioning Engineer.  Henneman Engineering Inc. provided mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, information technology engineering and commissioning services for this project.  For more information about the services offered by Henneman Engineering, visit our www.henneman.com or call Tyson Glimme at 608.833.7000.
