New Office Building and Parking Garage, Building 2

Edward Jones, North Campus

Maryland Heights, Missouri

To accommodate growth, Edward Jones rebuilt its campus in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The Building 2 project site is located on the southwest corner of the Edward Jones North Campus complex. The office building includes six stories with over 200,000 gross square feet, and includes a mechanical/elevator penthouse at the roof level. The building primarily contains open office areas, training facilities, full service cafeteria with related dining space, and an auditorium. The detached parking structure accommodates approximately 900 cars on five levels. Sustainable design features include displacement-style underfloor ventilation, CO2 controlled outdoor air, and daylight harvesting. The building’s electrical service is entirely backed up by a 2,000 kW generator. The entire second floor is dedicated to Data Center and intensive computer laboratory functions. Over 300 data cabinets and miles of copper and fiber optic cable were installed to support world-wide training functions.

Henneman Engineering provided the  mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, information systems, security, and building commissioning services for the building and parking structure.
