Operating Room Project - Phase 2 and 3

Henneman Engineering provided full engineering services for the design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, fire protection, and low voltage systems for this project. Floors 2, 3, and 4 of the 18-story hospital were renovated, including the replacement of operating suites on the Barnes-Jewish Hospital South Campus.

Phase 2 consisted of work on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the East Pavilion. A new 1,500-square-foot Central Sterile Department was built on the 3rd floor, and new operating rooms on the 2nd floor. Phase 3 included work on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the West Pavilion. New operating rooms were constructed on the 2nd floor, and a new locker and change area, including a dining area and lounge was built on the 3rd floor.
