Erin Powers serves as the Structural Engineering Lead for Henneman Engineering and the Industrial Technology Group. With more than seventeen years of experience, she has led and contributed to a wide range of structural engineering projects, including industrial manufacturing facilities, commercial developments, multi-family residential buildings, and educational institutions.
She has design experience with concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and aluminum systems. Erin’s technical proficiency and leadership ensure that each project meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and innovation.
Erin earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois (081.007380) and a Registered Professional Engineer in Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. In addition, she is a LEED Accredited Professional through the U.S. Green Building Council.
Active in several professional organizations and community initiatives, including serving as a regional coordinator for Engineer in the Classroom, Erin is dedicated to promoting sustainable, resilient design practices and advancing the structural engineering profession.
