Wittich Hall is a three-story gymnasium that was transformed into office space to house the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse College of Business Administration. The rehabilitation of this 100-year-old historical building involved a complete demolition of the interior and a restoration of the building’s exterior. Preserving and enhancing the historic character of the building was a significant goal for the project along with maintaining the balance of historic integrity and modern usability. Highlights of the project included a first floor overlooking the lower level previous gymnasium space and exposed original roof trusses. The building infrastructure was upgraded as well as the classroom technology, restrooms, elevators, life safety systems and accessibility.

Henneman Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and information technology engineering services.
