Vice President of Structural Engineering
Scott Morrison is the Vice-President of Structural Engineering for Henneman Engineering and Industrial Technology Group. Scott has over 30 years of structural engineering experience with the majority of his career in the consulting engineering business. He joined Henneman-ITG in November 2004 to start the structural engineering group.
During his career, Scott has served as a design engineer, project engineer, project manager and principal in charge as a member of various project design teams. His project experience includes the design of commercial, educational, governmental and industrial buildings and structures in Florida and Georgia, as well in the Midwest. Current and recent industrial/manufacturing clients include Kraft Foods, Quaker Oats, Caterpillar, Dyno Nobel, KIK Custom Manufacturing and Lincolnland Agri-Energy.
Scott is a native of Illinois and received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies degree in 1981 and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and Nevada and a Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin. Scott is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
Scott has been active in several professional organizations and community activities. He is a Past President of the Champaign County Chapter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers and a Past State President and State Director of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers.
