Aspirus Langlade Hospital

Aspirus Langlade Hospital is an award-winning, new, two-story critical access facility with 23 inpatient beds, three surgical operating rooms, imaging, laboratory, and emergency department/walk-in clinic. Innovation teams made up of existing hospital employees devised new ideas to better the patient experience. Amenities include include a café with internet access, chapel area, space for patient family overnight accommodations, and a connection between the clinic and the new hospital. Additional patient experience enhancements include surgical pre-operative education, improved registration process and new foodservice delivery methods. The design team worked closely with Focus on Energy to help identify, analyze, and prioritize energy efficiency measures. The Aspirus Langlade Hospital received a Daily Reporter’s Top Project Award in 2012.
