Fulton Ethanol LLC, Ethanol Plant
Fulton, Illinois
One of the most exciting project teams in the Midwest, Fulton Ethanol LLC, is building a 54-million gallon per year (MMGY) corn to ethanol plant.
ITG supported this client through all phases of their project. Early on, ITG provided technical know-how and guidance to the team of investors including:
- Performing initial engineering
- Assisting in the selection of a technology provider
- Preparing bid documents
- Helping select Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) companies to construct the plant and its infrastructure
As the project progressed, ITG performed comprehensive engineering services (process, electrical, mechanical, civil, structural) required to complete specifications, drawing and bid packages for EPC contractors to achieve a fixed price for construction. This work included designing both the balance of plant as well as detailed design for some aspects of the ethanol plant to enhance the capabilities of the technology provider.
ITG was also responsible for incorporating aspects of the ethanol process that were designed for the technology provider into the balance of plant design and complete the final engineering package. ITG’s final drawings and specifications were then used in the creation of construction documents for the EPC firm. ITG’s experienced field personnel will be on site to support training, start-up and commissioning of the facility.
