Saint John’s on the Lake Retirement Community

Saint John’s on the Lake project included a new independent housing tower with up to 20 stories and renovation of an existing tower. The new $80 million tower included a 50-bed nursing facility, a 24-suite community-based residential facility and 12 residential care apartments. Renovation of the North Tower converted offices into common areas and added 75 new independent living spaces. This project was a multi-phased effort. As the new tower was completed, the existing space was be re-purposed and renovated to meet current requirements.
This project met Facilities Guidelines Institute (FGI) 2014 Design Guidelines. The energy efficient design concentrating on reduced life cycle costs included energy recovery systems and daylight harvesting and increased the maintainability of existing systems.
