Wisconsin State Capitol, Security Camera Upgrades
Madison, Wisconsin
Wisconsin State Capitol Security Camera Upgrades replaced 54 old analog cameras. Henneman Engineering provided design services to replace all outdated cameras and cables with new digital IP cameras and new Cat6 cable. The video management system was upgraded. The cameras are a mixture of indoor, outdoor, pan tilt zoom (PTZ), fixed, and clandestine “lipstick” and mini pinhole cameras that are hidden from public view in critical locations such as entries, elevator lobbies and the Supreme Court reception office. Due to the historic nature of the facility and the difficulty of getting new installations approved, existing locations, mounts, raceways and telecom rooms were reused to the greatest extent possible.
Henneman Engineering provided information technology and audiovisual engineering design services.
