The John R. Moses Skilled Nursing Facility will provide high quality medical and nursing care while focusing on the resident’s experience. It will house 192 beds within 16 households. Each household will have 12 residents sharing kitchen, dining and living space to facilitate neighborly interaction. Special consideration was given to capturing the views from each room that overlooks Rainbow Lake.

This project required removal of two existing buildings to accommodate the new facility. It included an electrical infrastructure design connecting the campus to new electrical services from the local utility.

Henneman Engineering is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and audio visual engineering services. Henneman Engineering is also providing DFDM Level 2 commissioning services.

System Design

• Steam to hot water heat exchangers with hot water reset for energy efficiency
• Steam domestic water heaters
• Upgraded electrical service to existing facilities
• Extended new utilities from existing central plant to the facility
• New 750 KVA generator
• Design of new audiovisual systems in multi-purpose rooms and conference centers
