University of Illinois, Music Building Renovation & Upgrades

Henneman Engineering provided the HVAC, electrical, and temperature controls design for the renovation of the restrooms in the Music Building at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Included in this renovation was the complete demolition and new installation of the domestic water system including piping and a steam-to-hot-water heat exchanger. All new plumbing fixtures were installed in 10 restrooms and a new all-gender restroom was retrofitted in the space. Also included in this project was the demolition and new installation of the two elevator cabs. Henneman Engineering was responsible for the fire protection, plumbing, heating, temperature controls, ventilation, and electrical design services for this project.
