Carle Clinic Remodel

This project involved the relocation of internal departments including medical Oncology; Nuclear Medicine; Orthopaedics, Podiatry, and Occupational Medicine; Lab and Business Services; Imaging; Wound Center; Administration and Specialty Clinics; Cardiology; Records; a Call Center; and Conference Space. After confirming the feasibility of relocating the departments within the facility, an exercise in placement of those departments within the available space was performed, attempting to preserve consistent and logical adjacencies among those functions. In general, departments were disrupted as little as possible, remaining in the same location where appropriate. The relocation of the medical oncology department situated the open infusion area to take advantage of exterior views to Lake Vermilion and the surrounding landscape. 

Henneman was responsible for complete architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design for this comprehensive cancer treatment center.
